Post-Doctoral Scientist
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the Julius L. Chambers Biomedical/Biotechnology Research Institute at North Carolina Central University. The lab is located on the North Carolina Research Campus, which has state-of-the-art core facilities in the areas of genomics, metabolomics, proteomics and microscopy.
We are seeking self-motivated postdoctoral scientists to study breast cancer prevention and mammary tumor development. Our research focuses on tyrosine kinase signaling, mammary stem cell reprogramming and epigenetic regulation of mammary/tumor cells in response to various preventive or etiological factors targeting hormone-growth factor crosstalk. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences and strong background in cellular and molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Expertise in signal transduction, apoptosis, gene expression and molecular cloning will be an asset.
