美国芝加哥大学招聘免疫学博士后

Our lab is interested in dissecting the role of organ-specific regulatory T cells in tumor immunity vs inflammation in models of leukemia and graft-versus-host disease. Studies include understanding the development of tissue-specific regulatory T cells (Tregs) and the signaling pathways involved in their trafficking to various organs in models of leukemia/lymphoma and graft-versus-host disease following hematopoeitic stem cell transplantation.

Specifically, we ask how are Treg imprinted or educated to go specific tissues? What is the role of Treg migration in the development of immunological memory? What are the signaling pathway(s) that link Treg and the innate immune cellular components which mediate tumor immunity, inflammation, and tolerance. Our studies are performed in both mouse models and human samples.

The position is intended for exceptional candidates with a Ph.D., or M.D/PhD, who has excellent graduate training and a record of publications in immunology/molecular biology/cancer biology. Experience in immunology, molecular biology and in vivo mouse models is highly desired.

Interested applicants should email their curriculum vitae, a statement of current and future research interests and why you are interested in our research, and complete contact information of three references to vnguyen@medicine.bsd.uchicago.edu
