Technologists (Engineers), Life Science Centre, SUSTC

With an ambitious goal to build a first-class, research intensive Biology program, we are recruiting well-trained, dynamic and talented PhD level graduates to join our Life Science Centre as Technologists (Engineers) in the following technology areas:

◆ Protein purification system technologies (Biacore, ITC, CD)
◆ X-ray crystallography technologies for structural biology (Rigaku Micromax-007, crystallization techniques)
◆ Patch-clamp and electrophysiology technologies
◆ Cell culture and analysis technologies (Flow cytometry, Fluorometer)
◆ Electron microscopy technologies (TEM, SEM)

For those applicants with exceptional experience and training, opportunities exist to be hired as a Senior Technologist (Senior Engineer) to lead the development of related technologies and supervise junior technologists.
Requirements:
◆ A graduate with PhD degree in related technologies from a recognized university
◆ A strong research background/experience in the related technologies
◆ Extensive experience with maintenance of the respective technology-related facilities and equipments
◆ Highly self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
