We look for a highly motivated and committed postdoctoral scientist to join our team in the isolation and identification of natural compounds.
The successful candidate should bring the following qualifications:
PhD degree preferably in Pharmacy, also graduates in Chemistry, Biology or another field strongly related to pharmaceutical biology are welcome
Experience in phytochemistry (analytics, isolation, structure elucidation of natural compounds, quality assessment of drugs etc.) and especially practical experience in mass spectrometry of plant secondary metabolites
Experience in teaching (practical training in pharmacognosy/ pharmaceutical biology, microbiology)
Good German and English language skills
Good organisational skills
Ability to work in a team
The applicant will be involved in the supervision of diploma students, PhD students and technicians. She/he should be creative, establish her/ his own focus of research and acquire project funding.

The position is available immediately and funded for 6 years. The opportunity to obtain “Habilitation” or an equivalent qualification is given.
