The Dept. of Experimental Mouse Genetics has an opening for a Postdoctoral position
Project
The aim of the project will be to study the genetic susceptibility of the host to an infection with influenza A virus substrains. As a model system, we will use different mouse inbred, recombinant inbred, congenic and mutant strains. The pathology, immune response and genetic factors of host susceptibility will be analyzed.
Requirements
Candidates that hold the equivalent of a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences are welcome to apply. Previous experience with animal work, influenza or mouse genetics will be considered as an important asset.
Starting date: as soon as possible initial contract for 2 years, with the possibility for extension for a third year
Salary: E13/Zulage E14
