Recruitment of a co-Principal Investigator at the Unit of Emerging viruses of Institut Pasteur of Shanghai, CAS
The Unit of Emerging viruses of IPS, CAS has developed a viromic platform in the field of viral infectious diseases to meet Chinese priorities in public health.
The Unit is seeking to recruit a senior research scientist to contribute as a co-Principal Investigator to develop innovative biomedical researches with strong emphasis on respiratory viruses, ranging from basic biology to clinical development of new vaccines, therapies, and diagnostic tools. This research draws upon the skills, expertise, and interests of a scientist in genomics, proteomics, and epidemiology.
Interested candidate must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent, obtained internationally advanced research experiences and accomplishments, good track record of publications in international journals. He or she should be able to demonstrate abilities in directing key research and development projects.
The initial appointment is for a period of three years, renewable on evaluation records. Salary will be commensurate with experiences and qualifications.
