美国塔夫茨医学院招聘博士后
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Dr. Giorgio Lagna’s group in the Molecular Cardiology Research Institute of Tufts Medical Center, Boston. The lab investigates the action of TGF? and Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMP) on the cardiovascular system, with special emphasis on the differentiation of vascular smooth muscle cells. We are particularly seeking someone to help us elucidate the molecular signaling pathways that specifically direct smooth muscle differentiation, and the enthusiasm to extend these findings to in vivo disease models.

Applicants should have a PhD, MD, or both, with a strong background in cell signaling and experience with primary cell culture and in the handling of mice. Training will emphasize interdisciplinary relationships between molecular biology, gene expression, cell signaling and cardiovascular pharmacology and physiology.
