 Postdoctoral positions in the field of cancer epidemiology are available immediately in Dr. Xifeng Wu’s lab at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Wu’s lab currently holds the position of principle investigator on ten large-scale National Cancer Institute (NCI)-funded grants and major collaborator on twelve others. Successful applicants will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of epidemiologists, biologists, statisticians, and clinicians, and to utilize both modern and classical epidemiologic approaches within a broad range of research projects from risk assessment modeling and clinical outcomes research, to genome-wide associations and pharmacogenetics. The large collection of epidemiologic and clinical data combined with biospecimens from a number of cancer types and innovative phenotypic technology in our laboratory will greatly facilitate the realization of promising novel ideas in the fields of cancer research.

We seek highly motivated individuals who have a Ph.D. in epidemiology, statistics, or biology with less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience.
