美国威斯康星大学公共健康医学院招聘博士后

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow or Research Associate.

We are focused on clinical translational research in the leukemia and lymphoma areas. Studies are designed to explore whether any or specific genetic aberrations have significant predictive value for clinical outcome in patients with leukemia and lymphoma. We are interested in identifying novel genetic alterations that will help us understand the pathogenesis, and provide valuable findings in the design of novel therapeutics for future therapeutic interventions. We will carry on studies and analyses using mutational results, comprehensive immunophenotypic biomarkers, gene expression profiling, CGH and microRNA profiling data. Any genetic results will be correlated with clinical data. The clinical resources are composed of human subjects recruited from 20 medical centers in the world to probe biologically critical subsets of patients. The biological and experimental studies are performed in collaboration with 3 major centers in the US and European countries.

Successful candidates will hold a PhD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree and shall be expected to have excellent organization skills, data assembly and manuscript writing skills as more than 15 manuscripts are expected to be constructed within 3 years. Experimental skills in molecular biology and genetics with human tissue morphologic skills are preferred. Funding support for this position is for up to 3 years at minimum from NIH resources. Interested candidate who is willing to develop successful grant applications and to facilitate future career development will be fully supported at the conclusion of the postdoctoral training.

Interested candidates should feel welcome to submit curriculum vitae, names of three work references and copies of one or two publications electronically to:
