Reporting to the Principal Investigator at the College of Dental Medicine, Section of Hospital Dentistry, the postdoctoral research fellow participates in studies in skin and oral biology. Position is available immediately. The overall goal of the project is to investigate the role of integrins in skin and oral epithelia, using a knockout mouse model. Specific areas of interest include cell biology, signal transduction, molecular biology, and the use of lenti/retroviral vectors.
Ph.D. or M.D. and strong background in skin/oral biology and cell biology required; prior experience working with mice and cell culture model systems required; experience in use of retro-lenti viral vectors preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a plus.
