A POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available in the GI Research Group, the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Virginia Commonwealth University to study the role of neurotrophins and neuropeptides in visceral inflammation and hypersensitivity. Competitive candidates should possess a Ph.D and have experience in small animal neurobiology and variable research tools of biochemistry, molecular biology, and physiology. Experience in electrophysiology and patch clamp is a plus. Successful candidate will join a large, interactive research group with multidisciplinary research settings. This position is subject to federal funds.
