Two postdoctoral positions and two PhD student positions are available immediately. We are interested in studying cancer-related signal transduction focusing on the p53 as one of the central mediators of molecular processes involved in cancer, and translational research focusing on the E3 ubiquitin ligases as anticancer targets. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with national and international partners and require highly motivated and independent candidates, with a positive attitude to working in an interdisciplinary team. The PhD students will be enrolled in the Department of Lab Medicine & Pathology at the University of Alberta.
