Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), known as one of the top leading universities in China, is searching for the Dean of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering （SCCE）, which was established in 1997 based on the Department of Chemistry founded in 1928. The school has inherited SJTU’s profound humanistic style and academic tradition, achieved many honors, and educated numerous young talents of the country for more than a decade.
Currently, the school consists of Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, Department of Chemistry, Department of Chemical Engineering and 8 Research Institutes. There are 110 full-time faculty members.
To fast develop the School into a world-class institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University is searching for the Dean worldwide. Candidates should be at the full professor level with proven track records in research and academic leadership in internationally leading universities and research institutes.
