Qualified applicants for tenure-track artist-faculty positions in its newly established School of Music. Positions in: viola, double bass. Rank: Assistant / Associate Professor.
Responsibilities include: teach applied lessons at both undergraduate and graduate levels; perform in solo recitals and chamber ensembles; coach chamber groups; assist in the establishment of the University orchestral program.
Other duties may be assigned depending on the candidate's qualifications and departmental needs. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualification and experience.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding musician with significant performance experience or an emerging artist. An advanced degree in music is preferred or equivalent professional experience; college/university teaching is desired. Proficiency in Chinese language is not required.
