A postdoctoral position is immediately available for outstanding individuals to participate in research studying the molecular mechanisms responsible for the pathogenesis of skin and colon cancer. Projects will involve KLF4 studies including transcriptional regulation, post-translational regulation, BAC transgenics, stem cell biology, and analysis of transgenic and knockout mouse models. This research will be a collaborative effort among the Department of Pathology and CCCR (Center for Colon Cancer Research) and provides an excellent opportunity for training and career development. Strong experience in molecular biology, signal transduction, immunohistochemistry, and/or mouse models is required.
Interested applicants must have a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
