德国图宾根大学招聘博士后

Post-doctoral position funded by the DFG is immediately available at the Hertie Institute for Clinical Neuroscience and Max Planck School for Neurosciences in the Laboratory for NeuroRegeneration and Repair, headed by Simone Di Giovanni. The research will focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of axon regeneration for the repair of CNS damage, with particular emphasis on Spinal Cord Injury.

Experience in rodents’ research and/or sound background in cellular and molecular neuroscience are a competitive advantage. Only highly motivated candidates are encouraged to apply. Techniques employed in the lab include: gene cloning, gene expression and protein expression analysis, immunoprecipitation, ChiP assays, microarrays, spinal cord surgery. The lab also complements the in vitro approach with the use of transgenic animals in models of Spinal Cord Injury. The Hertie Institute for Clinical Neuroscience is a state of the art Research Institute with top levels scientists and facilities, including a Two Photon Microscope, and a Transgenic animal facility. Microarrays and proteomics core facilities are also available and three Max Planck Institutes in Tuebingen allow broad and high level scientific interactions.

For consideration, please send a CV, bibliography, a brief description of research experience and interest and the names of two references with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses to simone.digiovanni@medizin.uni-tuebingen.de.
