Post Doctoral Research Associate – Signalling Regulation of MAP Kinase in Cardiac Hypertrophy (Ref:Ls/80230)
Salary £26,666 per annum
Funded by the British Heart Foundation, we seek an enthusiastic individual to study the role of MAP Kinase in the heart using a conditional knockout mammalian model.
You will be highly motivated with a PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology or pharmacology. A research background in cardiovascular biology is desired as is competence in the use of transgenic models.
The post will be based in the cardiac signalling laboratories of Dr’sXin Wang, Elizabeth Cartwright and Professor Arthur Weston. You Will Join a Dynamic Community of Cardiovascular Scientists in the Faculties of Life Sciences and Medical & Health Sciences.
The post is tenable immediately until 30 September 2010.
