Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Neuroscience, Trinity College Dublin. Our research focuses on the interplay of sleep rhythms and synaptic plasticity.
The successful applicant will join the newly established Institute of Neuroscience hosting a multidisciplinary group of scientists (www.tcd.ie/Neuroscience) in the centre of the vibrant capital of Ireland. Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. in neuroscience or neuroscience-related fields. A strong background in electrophysiology and cellular imaging is preferred.
The position is available as of October 1st, 2008 for three years. The starting salary is €42000 pa. Candidates should submit a brief statement of past research accomplishments, CV, publication list and names of three referees to Dr. Daniel Ulrich (ulrichd@tcd.ie).
