Post-doctoral positions are available within the laboratory dedicated to amyloid research, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics, Umeå University, Sweden to work on the projects (1) “Mechanisms of formation and reversal of A-beta amyloids and their implications for Alzheimer’s disease” and (2) “Amyloid nanoparticles in biotechnological applications”. The essential qualifications of interested researchers should include a PhD degree, research experience and strong interest in biophysical studies and protein chemistry. Experience in atomic force microscopy would be beneficial. Good writing skills are desirable.
