The Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Ltd (LICR) is a global non-profit research organization comprised of branches located at academic centers in several countries. The LICR Stockholm Branch (http://www.licr.ki.se), situated at the campus of the Karolinska Institutet, was founded in 1986. The research is focused on signaling by growth factors, stem cell biology, and cellular differentiation.
The LICR invites applications for two postdoctoral positions with Dr. Jan Stenman to study the role of signaling in the central nervous system vasculature in development and disease.
The positions are funded for two years, with the possibility of continuation based upon research progress.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in a relevant field. A background in cancer biology, vascular biology, or developmental biology is preferred. Experienced with mouse models is a plus.
