We are seeking an experienced postdoctoral researcher with a PhD or MD (or soon to be awarded) to work on a project investigating the role of electrical stimulation in controlling neuronal, stem cell and epithelial cell behaviours during wound healing. The successful applicant will join one of the UK leading wound healing centres with an international reputation for studying the control of cell behaviour by physiological electrical signals; see McCaig et al 2005 Physiological Reviews 85, 943-978 & Zhao et al 2006 Nature 442, 457-460.

 

This project is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is initially available for a fixed period of 18 months. The salary will be in the range of £28,832 – £34,426 with placement according to qualifications and experience.
