Salary: £29,704 - £35,469 per annum

Contract: Fixed-term, Full-time

 

Hours: Nominally 35 hours per week

 

We wish to appoint a Plastic Electronics Research Fellow for a five-year term, funded jointly by the regional development agency and Sumation. The fellow will conduct his/her own research programmes based on time-resolved spectroscopy of conjugated polymers and organic devices. They will assist with the supervision of PhD students. The fellow will work closely with the new national facility in printed electronics (PETeC) at NETPark, acting as the liaison between the University and PETeC. The fellow will also work closely with Sumation, to develop new spectroscopic techniques and exisiting spectroscopies for organic devices, as well as with members of the TOPLESS research team investigating organic solid state lighting.

 

The post is subject to standard probationary terms. Further information will be issued in the contract of employment.
