In honor of the late prof. G. Occhialini, founder of the Institute, INAF -IASF Milano is awarding a post-doc fellowship, open to foreign citizens, holding a Ph.D. in astronomy or physics, obtained in 2006 or later, but before the submission deadline, to carry out a research project either in Observational Cosmology or High Energy Astrophysics.
The fellowship will initially be granted for one year, with a possible extension for a second year, subject to availability of funds and evaluation of performance. The gross yearly salary will be 30.000,00 euros. Applications, consisting of a CV, publication list, research experience, an outline of the research project the candidate wishes to carry out, and 2 letters of reference, should be electronically to the Director of IASF Milano, Dr. Dario Maccagni (dario@lambrate.inaf.it) before January 31, 2009.
