POSTDOCTRAL FELLOW positions are immediately available to study the function of coronary arterioles and peripheral angiogenesis in Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension.

 

Expertise using Vascular Surgery, primary animal cells, cell lines, protein and nucleic acid isolation, immunoblotting, quantitative and RT-PCR, DNA sequence analysis, and mutagenicity assays is strongly preferred. Must have a Ph.D. in a relevant life sciences discipline, excellent communication skills, self-motivation, a demonstrated capacity to publish, and a strong desire to develop grant application.
