华东师范大学是国家教育部直属全国重点大学，是国家“211工程”、“985 工程”重点建设高校。地理信息科学教育部重点实验室（华东师范大学）前身是城市与环境考古遥感教育部开放实验室，2003年通过教育部的评审，正式更名为“地理信息科学教育部重点实验室”，2004年和2009年连续两次通过教育部的评估。
根据教育部的要求，地理信息科学教育部重点实验室（华东师范大学）面向国内外优秀的科学家公开招聘新一届实验室主任。现将具体事宜公布如下：
一、任职条件
本领域高水平的学术带头人，具有较强的组织协调和管理能力，年龄不超过55岁，能有充分的时间行使实验室主任的职责。

Key Laboratory of Geographical Information Science （East China Normal University）, Ministry of Education (GISc Lab) is seeking an exceptional individual as Director globally.
East China Normal University，one of the China’s key university under the auspices of Ministry of Education, is sponsored by the prestigious national “Project 211” and “Project 985”. GISc Lab, formerly known as Open Laboratory for Remote Sensing of Urban, Environment and Archaeology, was approved and established by Ministry of Education in 2003.
