Postdoctoral Fellow in Global Health – Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases 
 
 
 
The Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI) and Duke Kunshan University seek to hire one full-time postdoctoral fellow to work at an innovative Global Health Research Center to be established by Duke Kunshan University (DKU) in Kunshan, China. The DKU Global Health Research Center will be an interdisciplinary program tied closely to health priorities and challenges in China and other Asian countries, and will initially focus on three research areas: health policy and systems, chronic diseases, and global environmental health. The postdoctoral fellow will work in the area of non-communicable chronic diseases. The fellow is expected to undertake research applied to China and other Asian countries under the supervision of senior faculty from DKU and DGHI, and to contribute to the MSc-Global Health education program at DKU. 
 
Duke Kunshan University is a partnership of Duke University, Wuhan University and the Municipality of Kunshan, China. The DKU campus, expected to open in 2014, is located 37 miles west of Shanghai in Kunshan, which is connected to Shanghai via a high speed train. Candidates for the position should have a relevant doctoral degree or medical degree awarded after 2009, and should thrive working in a multidisciplinary environment.
