A postdoctoral research position is immediately available to study:
(1) voltage-gated calcium channels in pain processing
(2) calcium channel regulation of synaptic transmission.
The successful candidate will have a PhD and/or MD degree with a solid training in patch-clamp electrophysiology and primary neuronal culture. Experience in slice recording and/or neuronal imaging will also be desirable.
