Postdoctoral fellowship position available to study cardiovascular developmental biology and arrhythmogenesis. We have recently completed a series of genome wide association studies and have identified multiple genetic loci associated with atrial fibrillation. We are using a diverse set of research techniques to study the molecular basis for atrial fibrillation including human genetics, cellular and small animal electrophysiology, as well as murine and zebrafish model systems. Applicants should be highly motivated and have a solid background in mouse or zebrafish developmental biology.
