Project
The Austrian Centre of Biotechnology (ACIB, www.acib.at) in Vienna has a long term programme in characterisation of surfaces for bioprocessing. Our focus is on bridging the gap between physical, biological and engineering fields. ACIB is seeking postdoctoral fellow in the field of biophysical characterisation of chromatography material. A background in physics or physical chemistry is requested. The appropriate candidate should have experimental skills in either SAXS/WAXS measurements or/and NMR.
Requirements
A PhD in in physics or physical chemistry is requested. The appropriate candidate should have experimental skills in either SAXS/WAXS measurements or/and NMR. or a related field is required. Candidates must have their prior research documented in scientific publication(s). Experience in elucidation of structure-function relationships in proteins/enzymes and the mechanistic investigation of proteins and surfaces is an advantage. Candidates must have excellent skills in spoken and written English, and interpersonal skills conductive to team work and group research efforts.
