A Postdoctoral position in Stem Cell Biology and Immunology is available at the NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) at Roger Williams Medical Center (RWMC), Providence, Rhode Island, located approximately 45 miles from Boston, MA. RWMC is a clinical and research affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine.
The position is within the laboratory of Dr Ashleigh Boyd. Dr Boyd has relocated from Oxford University and will continue her work on stem cell therapy for diabetes and the impact of the immune system on stem cell therapy.
The applicant should possess a PhD or MD/PhD degree and an extensive research background in immunology and molecular biology. Training in embryonic stem (ES) cell/induced pluripotent (iPS) cell culture and differentiation and in vivo transplantation techniques is highly desirable.
