The chair for Information Systems Management, University of Bayreuth (Prof. Dr. Torsten Eymann), invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the area of trust and reputation management in the future Internet of Services.
Focusing on the (automated) management of massively distributed IT infrastructures, the current research fields of Prof. Eymann and his team lie in the automated creation and exploitation of reputation and trust information, in the design of automated negotiations and marketplaces as well as the software agent based management of distributed service infrastructures.
The invited researcher will primarily be involved in the creation of a project proposal for the European Commission’s seventh framework program in the area of trusted ict infrastructures. Building on a previous proposal text and a refined project idea the new team member will drive the proposal together with a pan-european group of participants and lead the project afterwards as a coordinating partner. The employment is initially limited until December 2012.
