The Center for Genetics and Molecular Medicine and Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Louisville is seeking a self-motivated post-doc to study microRNA biology. Applicant must have a Ph.D., M.D. or MD/PhD with a strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics or microbiology. Prior experience in molecular cloning and protein or RNA chemistry, cell biology, genetics, or bioinformatics is highly desirable. However, applicants who have skills in some other disciplines but feel that they can easily learn those are welcome to apply
This position provides the opportunity for considerable creativity & innovation. The applicant shall have interests in microRNA biology and its pathological involvement in cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
