Postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Section of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Incumbent will participate in Cardiovascular Research to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of blood pressure regulation and vascular remodeling. Recent PhD in field of molecular and/or cellular biology. Robust opportunity to develop your own research project and funding. Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.
Visiting research specialist position is available in the Section of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Incumbent will perform basic laboratory work focused on the cardiovascular system. Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in health, biological, or chemical sciences and at least one year experience in a scientific laboratory. Experience with small animal surgery helpful.
