美国普林斯顿大学环境研究所招聘博士后
The Princeton Environmental Institute at Princeton University invites applications for postdoctoral researchers to work in the area of climate change and terrestrial biogeochemical cycles. The primary focus of the research is to understand CO2 fertilization of the terrestrial biosphere by integrating field observations and model predictions, with emphasis on effects of nutrients and climate on plant growth in tropical biomes. The successful applicant will integrate field observations from different tropical study sites into a predictive Earth system model. Lead by Professors Lars Hedin and Steve Pacala, the individual will work as part of an interdisciplinary team of ecologists, physical and biological oceanographers, and atmospheric scientists at Princeton University and the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory/NOAA

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area of environmental science. Experience with either field studies of forest nutrient-carbon interactions and/or numerical modeling is highly desirable. An interest in exploring the policy implications of scientific models is also desirable. The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to contribute in varying measure to a program of courses, lectures, conferences, and related activities

Appointment is for a minimum of two years with the possibility of renewal. A competitive salary commensurate with experience and credentials and excellent benefits are offered. Interested candidates should send a CV and expressions of interest by mail or email to: Lynne Johnson, Academic Program Manager, Princeton Environmental Institute, Princeton University, 127 Guyot Hall, Princeton, NJ 08544-1013 or email: ljohnson@princeton.edu
