Professor Joe Z. Tsien, recently relocated from Boston University, to the Cognitive and Systems Neurobiology Program at the Medical College of Georgia, is seeking postdoctoral fellows in the following areas:

Mouse behavioral Genetics (experience in learning and memory behavior and generation of transgenic and knockout mice is preferred)

Neural network mechanisms using in vivo electrode techniques in awake rodents and monkeys (matlab code and in vivo recording experience are required)

Mathematical and computational neuroscience (deep knowledge in various statistical pattern recognition methods and should be familiar with neuroscience).

Computer Engineer: pattern recognition software development (experienced in hierarchical temporal memory (HTM) algorithm and/or Bayesian network computation)

In addition, we are seeking a lab manager who should be experienced in mouse behavior, molecular cloning, lab safety and animal protocols, and lab supply orders, etc
