Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available for NIH and VA funded projects to study integrins and focal adhesion proteins (e.g. FAK, Vinculin and Talin) in the myocyte and Cardiovascular System using molecular and cellular techniques combined with transgenic / knockout mouse models. Candidates should have Ph.D. and/or M.D. degrees with strong training in molecular and cell biology. Will interact with large molecular cardiology group and have potential to be sponsored on an NIH-funded Training Grant.
