Postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Laboratory of Dr. Nathan Schoppa at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, Aurora, CO. Projects will examine synaptic, cellular, and neuronal network mechanisms in the olfactory bulb or cortex. Approaches include patch-clamping in brain slices taken from rats or genetically-modified mice, as well as imaging of large neuronal networks. A Ph.D. in neuroscience, physiology, or a related field is required. Experience in electrophysiology and/or imaging is preferred.
