美国辛辛那提儿童医院医学中心招聘博士后
The Jordan laboratory at CCHMC has an open position for a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with an interest in immune regulation, T cell effector function, and/or histiocytic disorders. The applicant should have a strong background in cellular immunology and T cell biology, with specific experience including flow cytometry and animal work. Expertise in cell signaling, biochemistry, vaccine immunology, and virology is also desirable.

Our NIH funded laboratory is focused on immune regulation and immune-mediated pathologies. We have recently defined how cytotoxic function and other T cell effector functions provide negative feedback for developing immune responses. These studies are rooted in an animal model, which we have developed, of a rare but devastating human disorder, called hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, which is associated with deficient cytotoxic function. We are also keenly interested in understanding how immune hyperactivation, as seen in this syndrome, drives severe macrophage-mediated pathologies. Additionally, we have significant interests in understanding immune priming as it applies to vaccine immunology.

Children’s Hospital Medical Center is a leading medical research and teaching hospital consistently ranking among the top 10 pediatrics hospitals in the nation. We are the second-highest recipient of NIH research dollars among pediatric institutions, and the third-highest ranked Department of Pediatrics in the nation.

Applicants should send a letter detailing specific scientific interests, accomplishments, and goals. Additionally, please send a curriculum vitae, and 3 references to the address below.
