A NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Lixia Yue at University of Connecticut School of Medicine (http://cell.uchc.edu/). This position is for highly motivated individuals who are interested in calcium signaling mechanisms and physiological/pathophysiological functions of TRP channels in cardiovascular or neuronal systems (Nature, 2001; 410: 705-9; Science 2001; 291: 1043-7). Recent PhD in electrophysiology or biophysics is required. Experience in molecular biology and protein biochemistry is desirable.
