Two positions for postdoctoral associates in microbiology are available in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University to study hydrogen metabolism in cyanobacteria. Focus areas include metabolic engineering of hydrogen production, biochemistry and regulation of hydrogenases, and search for new hydrogenases. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related, appropriate field at the time of appointment. Experience with genomic analyses and molecular biology of cyanobacteria is preferred. Starting date is negotiable. Competitive salary and benefits package.
