This position study genomic exploration and characterization of oncogenic pathways in breast and cervical cancers. Our focus is translational research towards the development of prognostics, diagnostics, prophylaxis and novel therapeutic applications. Individual will be required to perform an experimental breast cancer project currently under development; develop research project under the supervision of faculty; implement experimental protocols, collect and interpret the results involved in the project. Assist in preparation of protocols for possible clinical applicants. The PI’s laboratory is fully equipped for the main components of our research program, including molecular biology and oncogenomics.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in Science or another related field. Two years research experience in molecular biology is preferred. Experience with genomics is preferred. Excellent skills in English (both written and verbal) are required.
