An innovative Post-Doctoral Research Fellow is required to assist in leading the development of new diagnostic tests for markers of clinical disease activity in asthma and airways disease.
Based at our John Hunter Hospital precinct under the direction of Respiratory Physician, Professor Peter Gibson, you will lead a team developing ELISA’s for the testing of biological samples.
You will possess a PhD or other postgraduate degree in a related field, and research excellence is the primary criterion of success.

Academic Level A $47,384 to $64,304 per annum Academic Level B $67,689 to $80,382 per annum
Salary level within this range will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
