Postdoctoral associate positions are available in the areas of neurobiology and cell biology. The projects focus on the cell biology and physiological roles of ion channel genes in neuronal excitability control by neurotransmitters, rhythmic behavior, neurotoxicity, and cardiac function (Cell 129: 371-383).
For one position, demonstrated experiences in molecular biology, protein chemistry and cell biology are required. For the other position, patch clamp recording skill is essential and brain slice experience is a plus. Recent graduates with experience as demonstrated by publications are encouraged to send CV, description of research interest and names of three references.
