Postdoctoral scholar positions are available from May 2009 in the laboratory of Dr. Youwei Zhang at the Department of Pharmacology, Comprehensive Cancer Center, School of Medicine,in Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.

 

Dr. Zhang’s lab is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms of cell cycle checkpoint and DNA damage responses,as well as developing therapeutic strategies against human cancers. Please visit our website (http://pharmacology.case.edu/) for more information.

The Department has a broad range of research areas from signaling transduction to protein structure.

 

It provides an excellent environment to foster collaborations among laboratories working on different research areas.

 

Candidates should have a PhD and/or MD degree completed within the past three years.

 

Experimental background in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology and/or genetics is required.
