In a collaborative EU-research project on the role of proteases in inflammatory bowel disease (www.ibdase.org), we offer a postdoctoral position for a candidate (PhD or MD/PhD) with excellent skills and great interest in bioinformatics and statistics. Previous experience with DNA microarrays is an asset. Good communication skills and motivation to collaborate with other research groups are essential. The project addresses the role of mucosal proteases in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases in patients and animal models of disease. It represents a collaborative effort of European research groups and is coordinated by the University of Bern, Switzerland.
