Postdoctoral fellow sought to develop novel bioengineered autologous cell therapy to treat ectopic calcification in the laboratory of Dr. Cecilia Giachelli in the Bioengineering department at the University of Washington. The successful candidate will participate in creating small molecule controlled gene expression vectors, monocytic cell transfection, and directed cell differentiation studies. Experience with molecular biology, especially cloning, viral infection, cell culture and biochemical/signaling assays is preferred. Ability to work in a team with a strong translational motivation is highly desirable. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
