Post-doctoral position
We are seeking for enthusiastic postdoctoral candidates to develop and test cancer vaccines in various metastatic mouse breast tumor models.
Project
Developing vaccine therapies that are effective at older age
This project involves the development of cancer vaccines and optimization of vaccination strategies for older age. The research includes cloning of tumor-associated antigens as well as sequences that may enhance the immune system at older age, into various DNA delivery systems. In addition, combination therapies will be developed that may improve the immune system at older age. The effect of the vaccine therapy on metastases and primary tumor as well as on innate and adaptive immune responses will be compared in mouse metastatic breast tumor models at young and old age.
Candidates must have experience in more than one of the following areas: Immunology, Molecular Biology, and animal models. Candidates with at least 2 years of Postdoctoral research experience are preferred.
