A postdoctoral position is available at the Institute For Regenerative Medicine, College of Medicine, Texas A&M Health Science Center. The research projects for this position are: 1. Signaling molecules involved in regeneration of salivary glands; 2. Reprogramming of salivary gland cells to insulin-secreting beta-cells. We are using a comprehensive approach including genetic mouse models, molecular and cellular biology methods ans stem cell techniques to explore new approaches of regenerative medicine. We are seeking a M.D. or Ph.D. with a high degree of motivation and strong background in molecular biology or cell biology.
