A post-doctoral position is available for research in the areas of vascular biology and cancer biology. The lab focuses on genetic study of heparan sulfate proteoglycan in vascular development and cancer biology. Serial heparan sulfate proteoglycant mutant mice have been created exhibiting promising phenotypes. The candidate will be in charge of creating more mutant mice, phenotype characterization and dissection of the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms. Experience in developmental biology, cell biology, molecular biology, mouse genetics, cell signaling and biochemistry is desired.
