Job Description:
A position for a highly motivated postdoctoral is available immediately. We have recently established a number of mouse orthotopic models for ovarian and prostate cancers to study tumor metastasis with emphasis on tumor-stroma interactions. The focus of future studies will be the role and signaling mechanisms of bioactive lipid molecules in cancer development and the establishment of novel mouse models of ovarian and prostate cancers. Individuals applying for this position should have a strong background of cancer biology with experience in transgenic/knockout mouse model development, proficiency in molecular cloning and rodent surgical techniques (individuals with first author publications in these areas are preferred).
